"Perfect location in Seaport Village. Close to the sea taxi to Coronado, walking distance to Gas Lamp, the Midway, the baseball stadium…this hotel honestly could t get any better . It has been my go to San Diego hotel for 15 years (I go to SD once a year at least). If you want a hotel that is beautiful , clean, comfy, and worth your money it is this one! Staff is always so pleasant and will go out of their way to make your stay perfect! 5 stars isn’t enough, I would give 100 out of 5. The location is also very very safe. Even at night I walk around the area with no worries, and you do not see any of the homeless population. I would stay there alone as a female and not have a second thought .Thank you everyone who works there, don’t change anything!! Absolutely perfect!"

"I got the suite with the balcony view and boy was it tiny. Save your money and get a regular room. Otherwise pretty decent and it is in a very good location. Views from this location aren’t that great either especially at the price point but overall not too bad."

"For most part it was a great stay but the $70 daily parking fee in my opinion is unreasonable. The bathroom door doesn’t close completely. Very uncomfortable while I stayed there with my adult children. We needed to use the outside lobby restrooms. We needed to stay in the away from the bathroom area while someone was showering to provide them privacy."

"We stayed at the Hampton Inn San Diego Little Italy for two nights at the start of our trip, and the location was the standout. It’s right in the heart of Little Italy - a short walk to India Street’s restaurants and shops, and easy trolley/rideshare access to Balboa Park, Gaslamp Quarter, and the Embarcadero. Not having a rental car, this walkability made a huge difference for getting our trip started smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful at check-in, and the free breakfast was a nice bonus before heading out each morning. Would happily stay here again on a future San Diego trip."
