"We enjoyed the stay and it was very peaceful,my wife made use of the Spa treatment which was good. The room was nice and cleaned to a high standard however I feel it would have benefitted from a fridge/mini bar.Also the TV was old style and maybe more options like a smart TV would be good.Twice we had issues with the card door entry that did not work, however the staff were helpful in giving us replacement cards. Our room needed some embellishment with cushions on the sofa which underneath the bed runner used to cover it , it was extremely worn with the stuffing showing!! The curtains need to be replaced as they are worn and in some places don’t meet in the middle. The four poster had no drapes nor cushions. Very easy to brighten the room up . We loved the extra space though with the dressing room . The hotel seems to be aiming at golf and conferences as the limited...
