"The place is what you pay for I guess. You'd think £60 would go farther in Tanzania but apparently not, Arusha is expensive.
Basically, rooms are like prison cells, bathrooms terrible, and it took a few tries to find a room with working aircon. Staff were friendly enough if a little inefficient.
What is with having to ask for toilet paper all the time - just have some in the room, its a basic necessity!!!"

Location
This hotel is situated just outside Moshi - about a 10-minute taxi ride costing 10,000 - 15,000 Shilling.
There isn't much outside the actual hotel grounds so if you want the town aspect or want more places to eat you will need to visit Moshi.

The hotel is modern, clean and spacious. Lots of common areas, amazing gardens.

Tulia Zanzibar Unique Beach Resort.. UNIQUE being the operative word.
This resort is by far one of a kind and it completely exceeded mine and my partners expectations. We would definitely visit again, and again and AGAIN, hopefully annually. The staff deserve a 10/10 on their consistently outstanding customer service throughout our entire stay literally everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, the food is amazing, the alcohol is amazing and the beach and VIEWS ! Overall, Melia Serengeti was a delightful lodge and our stay was nearly perfect.
Sadly they were doing controlled fires in the surrounding area meaning that there was heavy smell of smoke and burning which affected air quality significantly.
If it weren’t for this the place would be perfect.

Danny is the perfect host. He took care of everything and did so much to make our stay special. With Bush side breakfast and dinner with a campfire along with a perfect sundowner, he and the staff ensured our stay was extra special.
And of course, Denis our safari game driver made sure we saw everything that one hopes to see in the Serengeti… leopards, cheetahs, hippos, elephants, giraffes, gazelles, impalas… even a serval cat, along with a huge pride of lions full of cubs.
Incredibly special...

We really looked forward to staying at the Zanzibar Queen given other reviews. It didnt disappoint. Fantastic location in beautifully kept grounds. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The pool area was clean and enticing. There was also boules, volleyball and badminton available to keep the body exercised. As well as table tennis and darts. The restaurant was superb. Ingredients and dishes were varied and akin to fine dining. Resort felt very private although effectively right on the beach....

Excellent option, friendly and extremely helpful staff. The only observation is that I found there to be too many Indian food options for both lunch and dinner and I missed more grilled food.

Great lodge in a lovely location. Pool was brilliant. The resident Marabou Storks made this place really special! Also so hornbills and a lilac breasted roller

I can’t recommend Clove Island highly enough. The setting is stunning, right on a super quiet beach and so relaxing and zen. The design of the apartments is gorgeous, so much attention to detail, it felt like a serene beach house. The staff are all amazing, the manager really took time to make sure everyone enjoyed their stay, and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was gorgeous, and the rooms are immaculate - as well as the pool area. The location is probably not for...

Great bungalow with a kitchenette. Excellent breakfast and great dinner. Small beers in the fridge are a bit costly. Take a tuk tuk to town and enjoy local life.

We were so glad we booked this brilliant lodge for the beginning and end of our amazing Tanzanian trip.
Harry and his partner should be congratulated on how beautiful the grounds are, for how well furnished the rooms are and for how well run the lodge is.
The staff at reception and in the restaurant were outstanding and the quality of the food was excellent.
Also having the beautiful gardens to wander around watching the wild birds and three species of monkey was unforgettable.
Thanks to all...
