"The staff was so nice and the area is so great that I desperately want to rate this property higher. But the bed is uncomfortable as the mattress springs can be readily felt, and the place, though uber charming, is in disrepair and needs a complete overhaul. It can be GLORIOUS, because it is such a wonderful place. You can see shades of its former glory. I hope they will invest in refurbishing the property."

"Villa Herencia is a local traditional hotel with cute clean rooms, equipped with AC. It’s located in the centre of Old San Juan and all the shops/restaurants/coffees and the nightlife are nearby. The staff is really kind and helpful. The only problem is the parking. If you have your own car you are obligated to park it in Cathedral’s parking lot which costs 27$ a day."
