"Staff were very helpful and hotel is beautiful. Rooms were spacious and clean. The property had free bikes to explore the town and a free shuttle (that must be booked as they only have one shuttle). Location is quiet and can be easily reached by taking Bus 1 from Locarno. "

"We took a quick overnight to Locarno from our Italy vacation and I’m so glad we did!! The room was comfortable and clean the view awesome. The staff friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant and bar. Also the food top notch from aperitif to dinner and breakfast best we have had in Europe so far!!! "

"Property was under complete construction. Couldn’t use 2 of our 3 balconies as they had tarps and ladders on them. Weren’t informed that whole place was under construction until two days before trip. "

"We spent one night in Ascona. Our Hotel room had the most beautiful view we've ever had (it was a lake view room). Apart from the balcony, the room was a normal hotel room, nothing special but also nothing to complain about. Everything was clean and we were overall super happy with our stay. We would have stayed another night if our plans permitted. Parking is unfortunately not at the hotel though - it's in a public parking garage that's not directly next to the hotel."

"We had an excellent stay ! The staff is kind and helpful. From what I understand the hotel has been recently redone. The bathrooms and the water pressure could use some work. I definitely recommend this hotel, you will enjoy your stay. Breakfast is better than in most 5 star hotels. Antipasti are served from Wednesday to Saturday on Patio. There again a very nice selection."
