Loved the location of being nearer the old side of Kyoto. Spacious lobby was lovely along with rooftop bar. Balance between sympathetic design and modern luxury. Perfect location and great staff. Our room was on 38th floor so we had fantastic views and the noise below wasnt an issue. The one gripe we had was the lack of clothing storage. Just one small rail with 4 or 5 hangers and nowhere to put our suitcases. We would still definitely recommend Hotel Groove Shinjuku to anyone in spite of this.

Deserves 6 stars. One of best 3 hotel stays in last 30 years. Rooms - spacious, clean, comfortable, great bathrooms. Excellent mattress, good pillows, soft duvet. Washer dryer in bathroom sounds odd but is actually quite useful. Quality coffee machine Food - lobby cafe in 19th is superb. Vfm tasty lunches and ala carte dinners. Buffets for the trealy hungry. Very good location, most attractions are within walking distance. The staff were lovely and very helpful. There are also good restaurants nearby.

The customer service at this hotel was impeccable. It was in a great location in a quiet neighbourhood, which suited us. It was a two minute walk from Gaiemmae metro station which is on the very handy Ginza line. The staff went above and beyond to help us with our questions and phoned onward hotels for us when we had questions. The room was clean and had excellent amenities. Thoroughly recommend!

We were so pleased we booked this hotel for the night before our very early flight. Not only was the hotel incredibly convenient for the airport, it provided a bit of luxury before our flight home. We had a large and beautiful room and everything we could have needed, including complimentary toiletries and drinks and a wonderful view for plane nerds! The staff were polite and helpful. Highly recommended.

Great stay, no complaints. The balcony view was beautiful.

We stayed for one night while transit. Free shuttle between terminals and then to the hotel so I didn't have to have local currency on me. I used both room service and laundry service; service was perfect and staff was very polite. I was wondering if it's worth getting out of airport when there is under 24 hours but yes, it was totally worth it, and I would do it again:-)
