"Loved staying at this great guest house. Very convenient for Edinburgh city centre as bus stop for the city centre is right outside the door. Craig is a great host with lots of helpful information. Would definitely stay here again. "

10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel in a fantastic location. Everything in Edinburgh is easily accessible and walkable. The room was clean and the staff were courteous. "
"What a beautiful property with a gorgeous room! We also enjoyed the extra rooms: library, music, etc. They were decorated very nice; we felt like we were staying in a castle! The staff were helpful and professional. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked. A perfect place to stay about 10 minutes drive from a park and ride into Edinburgh."
"The property was very nice. It was in a great location outside the city and the owners were very friendly. We were sad not to have Wi-Fi the whole time we were there because it was advertised that we would have some. Otherwise, the place was great and we had a great time."
"Our room was clean and comfortable - very charming. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Loved the quaint atmosphere - the meals in the gastropub were very tasty. The only concern we had is that the bed was a little too hard for us and the pillows too soft - but features like that are very subjective so that might not be a problem for you! The Inn is situated on a main road so can get very busy at times. Our room did overlook the road but once the window was closed and blinds drawn it was quieter. Again, didn’t bother us but something to keep in mind if you need peace & quiet. All in all a lovely place to spend a few nights and/or a lovely meal "
"The place is excellent to me. I've read some of the comments here about the place is being old.. well all I want is a place to sleep over cause I will be exploring Scotland all day and this place is perfect to me. Location, its about 20 to 30 mins by bus when going to City Center. Bus stop is very near the place. Only few steps away. About the service, its very good. I encountered some minor problem upon check in and I reported it immediately and they take action very quick. I have to commend them on that. They serve free breakfast and the staff are very accomodating. Surely will book here again when I go back to Scotland. It is worth it what you pay for."
