Amazing property with amazing staff. Can’t recommend enough. 8 mins walk into camps bay; yes it’s a hill but think of it as your steps for the day plus you get the views of the bay as you drop down. Breakfast really fab plus pool area lovely. 5 stars to all the staff there

Me and my wife stayed here on the first night of our honeymoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even left rose petals and sparkling wine in the room for us. The hotel has a very classic and stylish feel and contrary to other reviews which state noise being a problem we had no issues at all.

We arrived early, hours before check-in, but the hotel were expecting us and made us feel very welcome, offering us a space to freshen up in before we ventured out to make the most of our one full day in Cape Town. Owner Michel was very friendly and helpful; he organised an airport transfer for us and recommended a wonderful restaurant within walking distance for dinner (Silk) and also which beach to visit (Clifton Fourth) the next morning before our afternoon flight to Port Elizabeth. A great stay at the Mount Nelson - exemplary service, wonderful afternoon tea with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Upgraded on arrival to a suite which got the holiday off to a great start.

Room 61 at the hotel is particularly charming, situated over two floors, and with its own secluded rear garden. It has a very 'homely' feel to it.
One evening, as we left our room to dine in the hotel restaurant, the door security latch fell off (I know it's not supposed too...). We placed it to one side, and I was going to report this the following day. To my surprise, the security latch had been replaced by the time we returned later that evening. How's that for efficient service...

South Africa may be known for diamonds and gold, as well as an abundance of natural wonders, but Cape Cadogan is a jewel of a hotel in Cape Town. It is a small hotel that delivers personalised 5 star service.
We were very pleased to have chosen Cape Cadogan rather than one of the big chain hotels near the Waterfront.

I was delighted when I arrived at Ocean View House. Everything, from the drive in to the room and hotel facilities, was lovely and far exceeded my expectations. I was very sorry to be staying for only one night at the end of my 3 weeks in South Africa. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome and special as one of their guests. The room was enormous with a large bed and comfortable lounge area - and there was a 2nd room too! Breakfast and lunch very good quality and...

3 night stay in Cape Town at the start of an African adventure. Super friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, good location, 15 mins to beach, and to V&A. The apartment is probably the best we’ve stayed in (penthouse/honeymoon) especially for the money charged. Full high end kitchen, en suite, separate bathroom, 4 balconies and roof terrace. Jacuzzi wasn’t working properly but still 5 stars
