I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jardín D’Ebene for 7 days for a variety of reasons. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and Roland and Christopher and all others make you feel at home. It’s a fantastic value and the breakfast are outstanding. You feel well cared for and I would highly recommend staying here without reservation. I will be staying here every time I’m in Cape Town. This was the perfect home away from home. Wonderful owners that help you with day to day plans. Lovely living room where you can hang out and meet other travelers. Close walking distance to downtown attractions. Can't say enough good things about our stay.

Absolutely incredible boutique hotel

Roland and the team at the ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL Jardin D'ebne are incredible. Everything I needed, including a fantastic breakfast, was provided and catered for. The property is so beautiful I actually hung out for a couple of hours after checking out. Roland is a superstar host, with multiple languages and an easy manner - most of all, his recommendations for places to go and eat are invaluable ! Cannot wait to go back

Jardin D’Ebene was the perfect stay for my trip to Cape Town. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was made to order and delicious! Roland and his staff were awesome and accommodating. When one of my tours was cancelled, Roland swooped in and saved the day with one of his guides and recommendations. It is close to everything. All of my tours had no problems picking up here. I Ubered to the Waterfront. I highly recommend staying here.

Roland and staff offer fabulous value, quality and personal service, with the old fashioned gentility of an earlier period guesthouse. The decor is an eclectic blend of African art and comfortable furnishings. The garden and pool area are visited by an array of birds. We were made to feel comfortable, not just in our room, but the lounge, breakfast sunroom and garden. Security for vehicles out on the street is taken care of by a night watchman. The included breakfast is amazing and there are fruit and muffins for a late night supper with yea & coffee in the room. Roland also has a wealth of knowledge about dining in the area and Cape Town generally. You won’t regret choosing Jardin D’ébène for your stay.

Relaxing and traditional guest house stay

This is a beautiful place to stay in Cape Town. Christopher and the team looked after us very well. Breakfasts were freshly cooked and tasty. The decor is very atmospheric and the room very comfortable. It is a safe area to stay.

Lovely accommodation with plenty of character, located in quiet residential street, fairly close to Table Top & Signal Hill and easy drive to City Centre and Camps Bay. Our hosts were very welcoming and gave us great tips on where to visit in the City. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.. They let us leave our luggage after check out, as we had a late flight. Breakfast was great and our room was very clean and beautifully decoration. We are happy to recommend and hope to return again some day

Geweldig verblijf in Kaapstad. De eigenaren heten je vriendelijk welkom en weten veel te vertellen en tips te geven. Met name de ruime keuze bij het ontbijt is fantastisch. Mocht je deze locatie kunnen boeken zeker doen. Wij komen in elk geval zeker weer een keer terug.

What a wonderful place- an oasis in a really beautiful and pleasant part of the city. Roland is the most fantastic host, he made our stay really special- he has so much local knowledge and amazing recommendations for places that we wouldn’t have found otherwise and was so helpful as we had just arrived in South Africa. The hotel is lovely, a really relaxing and beautiful building. We had great sleeps after our flight in a really comfortable bed with crisp linen. The area is lovely and quiet but near great bars and restaurants and it’s safe to walk around. Breakfast in the terrace n the mornings was delicious and so fresh. We honestly can’t recommend this place enough!
