Picked Raffles based on its reputation, reviews and price, we were not disappointed. The hotel is fantastic,architecture is impressive, very clean and has excellent facilities. The most amazing part of the hotel though is its staff. They made our stay very relaxed, almost like home.

A fantastic hotel nestled on the border of traditional Dubai and the glitzy new Dubai! Al Satwa and Al Jafliya a few minutes walk one way and Sheikh Zayed Road a few minutes walk the other way! The hotel is about 5-10 minutes walk from Al Jafliya Metro and Bus stand! Jumeirah and Le Mer Beach are about a 5 minute taxi ride away. Really friendly,helpful staff and great location.

Easy check in. My partner and I were there for two weeks and we just needed a place to sleep so it was more than perfect and I'm very fussy. Shuttles service to the metro, Dubai mall, kite beach and JBR provided all at certain times with a pick up also excluding JBR. With the metro it's very easy to get anywhere. 2minz walk from hotel and you'll find a papa johns if you don't want to eat at the restaurat, Starbucks and many other restaurants along this road. Everything about the hotel is great. The only thing I would say is be aware of the location. It's a 20 minute walk to the Dubai Mall which is fine if you are in good health and mobile. And if you want to use the metro system it's probably 45-60 minute walk to that. Dubai is very spread out so if you want to see The Palms, The Marina it's a 45-60 minute taxi ride. The free bus service offered by the hotel is great but only runs twice a day. Other than that the hotel is top notch.

Fantastic location - excellent breakfast and really good attentive service. Rooms were big and well equipped and swimming pool was lovely - bar staff and lifeguards really good too.

A family of four. Two teenagers in their own room. We booked two executive ocean rooms in the Al Qars . The upgrade was excellent value as your picked up at the airport, you can eat and drink in the executive or premium lounge and you have your own concierge. The staff all call you by your name and they genuinely make an effort to be personal and authentic. We had a good stay here, the staff are all very attentive and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection for most tastes and the evening buffet was also nice. We used the pool on the top floor in the evenings and it was always mostly empty. I even had a lovely chocolate birthday cake left in my room when I returned from work, which was a real surprise and a lovely touch. All in all, really enjoyed our stay here and would go back if we worked in Dubai again.
