Alcântara is a district located towards the southwest of Lisbon, along the Tagus River. It is one of the liveliest nightlife spots in the city.
Check out the restaurants while you're in Ajuda. Hop on the metro at Lg. Ajuda (Palácio) Stop and Cç. da Ajuda - Palácio Stop to see top sights like Ajuda National Palace and Floresta de Monsanto Park.
Benfica is a pleasant village to the north of Lisbon. Although this is a highly urbanized residential area, it has some beautiful green areas and parks, and is home to one of the largest Portuguese football clubs: Sport Lisboa Benfica.
Restelo is well liked for its restaurants and museums. If you're hoping to get in some sightseeing, Jerónimos Monastery and Berardo Collection Museum are top spots, and you can jump on the metro at Centro Cultural Belém Stop or Lg. Princesa Stop to get around.
