"We stayed at Eurostars das Letras in Lisbon and had a generally pleasant experience, with a few hiccups. I booked a Junior Suite through Expedia, but upon check-in, we were given a room that felt smaller and didn’t match the suite shown online. We stayed one night thinking the photos might be misleading, but after checking the hotel’s website the next day, it was clear we were not in the correct room. We brought this to the front desk, and to their credit, they apologized and promptly moved us to the proper Junior Suite. They also offered complimentary breakfast for the rest of our stay. While appreciated, it felt like partial compensation since we didn’t get what we paid for on the first night. The new room was lovely, spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed and a balcony with a beautiful view of São Jorge Castle. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of hot and cold options. The location is decent, quiet and away from the busiest areas, but about a 25 to 30 minute walk to the city center. Overall, a comfortable stay with good service recovery, just double-check your room upon arrival."
