We liked the polite & helpful staff. Nothing was to much for anyone that we spoke to. Bedroom, bar area & breakfast room were cleaned to a very high spec. The hotel was in a great location.

Brown's is in a very centrally located spot. Access to many things is a short walk away. Our only complaint concerns the room sizes and HVAC controls. Even upgraded rooms are small, so be prepared to mull over such circumstances. The HVAC controls only permit temperatures in certain ranges and those settings not to your comfort. We literally left the HVAC off as any application of controls found the room incredibly too warm.

We arrived at 0630 hours and Diego got us settled immediately as we had reserved and paid for the room for the previous night. All was ready and waiting and we got to catch up on our sleep we lost on the flight. Lots of ways to create tea and coffee in the room however I don’t know how to use a nesspresso machine. Will seek help. Daytime front desk staff too were very helpful. Great location an our taxi ride in from the airport at 0600 hours only cost €20 including tip. Fair pricing too given it’s location and rooms (smaller than North American rooms but larger than similarly priced boutique rooms in Japan. I’d stay here again on a return visit to or through Lisbon.
