The history of the hotel and wonderful staff made it the perfect place to stay. The bartender was the best. The only negative was the concierge was not helpful and gave us horrible directions. The front desk was also wonderful.

This hotel is a wonderful property in a great location. The attention to detail makes this a five star hotel in every way. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and the many complementary extras added a special touch to our stay. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Lisbon.

This hotel was incredible. A perfect mix of old (140 year old hotel) with modern. Very clean with excellent service. Location was on a wide boulevard. Walking is challenging on cobblestone sidewalks but fun - another example of keeping the old experience. We recommend the city tours by open air Double decker buses.

I would definitely stay here again.The location is excellent and is within walking distance to many restaurants, service was prompt and great, and breakfast was outstanding. Also, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were tastefully decorated.
