"An outstanding experience for a four night stay. Right in the heart of the city, whereas Marine Drive hotels require time and transport. The staff at reception, housekeeping, dining are complete professionals who genuinely care about guests' experiences. Elegant rooms with many mirrors and, count 'em, 15 total light switches. Immaculate. Thoughtful touches. Prompt in room dining service. Breakfast in Shamiana restaurant beyond delicious with so much variety. But it is the people who make The Taj so memorable. What really made the experience stand out was the staff — everyone from reception to dining and housekeeping was genuinely friendly and helpful.
