A special mention to Aniket and Mahendra at breakfast, who were always attentive, efficient, and ensured everything ran smoothly. Rajan and Kajal were prompt and responsive, taking great care of all our in-room needs. The cleanliness throughout the property was outstanding. Vinit, the housekeeping manager, deserves particular appreciation—he was just as impressive during our previous stay as well, consistently maintaining high standards. I stayed here for 3 nights just one week before Christmas and I was stunned by how beautiful the festive decorations were in the lobby area. The hotel itself is spacious, beautifully furnished, and the food at the 3 restaurants is excellent. The complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail hour at the Club Lounge was also excellent. The staff were efficient, courteous and always smiling. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast is surely something to behold all manner of sweet and savoury delights, the idlis were particularly good served with sambal and the dosas were delicious with a lovely fluffy potato fillings.I’ve never been away at Christmas time before,the Taj had a magnificent tree and presents in the foyer with Christmas lights.They even laid on a Christmas parade with Santa on a motorcycle!! The bedskirt did not fit, it was short and revealed a torn and unkempt bed base. Quite off putting. The carpets looked good, but not clean. The shower handle that runs hot and cold fell out.. despite their attempts to fix it, it fell out again the curtains kept trailing off and had to be fixed. All this in a span and f 5 days. Not once was I asked to move to a different room to salvage the experience. On the other had the staff was mostly kind; especially the guards at the front. Avinash at the hair salon was lovely to work with - high level of emotional intelligence. I enjoyed the daily breakfast and live instrumental music, very soothing.

Room and staff was fine. The hotel was very crowded, did not feel like five star hotel, at best three stars. Breakfast buffet was like a zoo. No proper seating available, had to ask for service several times. Outside the hotel is a big slum on the seaside. No proper place to walk. Hotel staff seems to be unhappy as they mentioned that they are really unhappy with the employer.

If I could give a 1/2 star more, I would. Taj Lands End provides a level or service and comfort that makes arrival to Mumbai effortless. We upgraded to Club Level which provided airport pick up and access to a private breakfast, tea and happy hour lounge. This is an elevated perk. Staff are attentive and food is very good. Our only issue was the strong scent of Jasmine throughout the building. While the scent is lovely in the Lobby we noticed our room was located by a 'scent dispenser' so we smelled it constantly. We will be back!

This is a really good hotel for it's location, lobby area, and general service. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The only negative I would save was the room had a damp feel in the air, so nothing was ever 100 percent dry.
