As always the hotel staff go out of their way to help the customers. Extremely polite and always smiling. Have stayed here many times and is always a pleasure. Will do so again as well. It was truly a five star experience. If you are going to Mumbai, and want to be taken care of by some of the best, friendly, helpful and purely nice people, this is a great resort. A special shoutout to the staff at the 21-club - I received so much advice and helpful suggestions! If you want to have a great time - and live it up - stay at the Taj. Beware of the traffic though, give yourself time to reach your destinations.

The location is what makes this property popular but I have had much better experience at hotels of this stature in terms of staff and service. The lobby is also always too crowded and chaotic. If you are not particular about staying in bandra I would 100% recommend oberoi over this.

This is one of the worst Taj properties I have visited. The decor and furnitures are outdated. The rooms smell. Who in this day and age has pink floors and doors? I complained and their response was that this is an old property and is not being maintained! If you cannot maintain then close it! Will never stay at this place again and will make sure to tell all my friends to stay away. It is really sad that the property in a nice location and they just ruined it by failing to maintain it and keep up with the times. They are totally ruining the great reputation of Taj.
