"Something for everybody! We chose to stay beachside, where you can hear the waves from your room. With two young kids it was then easy to pop across the road to the pools with the slides and wave pool. Dinner buffet was great value, as kids under 7 go free. I’d probably like to see some vegan options. That also applies to breakfast, which had a wonderful fruit selection, but cater a lot for the Chinese customers. Wonderful fresh fruit juices and a great selection of breads to toast though. The staff are friendly and helpful, and great with children. A really great trip."

"Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa – Phuket ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5) I had a beautiful stay at Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa. The ocean‑view jacuzzi suite was absolutely stunning peaceful, romantic, and one of the highlights of my holiday. The resort grounds are lovely, the views are incredible, and overall it’s a great place to relax. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. Staff communication and training could be better, especially when handling guest requests. Some parts of the room and amenities need more thorough cleaning. For example, when I boiled water to make tea, I discovered significant residue and buildup inside the kettle, which shows it hadn’t been properly cleaned. This is a hygiene concern, especially for a 5‑star property. These issues didn’t ruin my stay, but they are important for the resort to address. With better staff training and more attention to cleanliness, Diamond Cliff could easily be a perfect 5‑star experience."

"I had an amazing stay at Dewa! I solo traveled for my birthday and the staff went above and beyond for me! All I did was mention my birthday being the next day to my driver and the entire staff showed me so much love! I was able to book my activities for a good price as well. "We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, all the staff were very helpful. The room we booked ended up having an ocean view, even though we only booked a deluxe king which was an added bonus. The welcome drink was also very nice after a long flight. Be prepared to either wait for a buggy to pick you up or walk up a log of hills, as the whole hotel was up and down in the hills. This did not affect us, but may do if you are handicapped. The general location of the hotel is not great if you want to do sightseeing, as we had to get an hour taxi ride to the Buddha, and the Phuket town. We also had to do a long ride to the port for any boat trips which was a bit annoying. It was only 15 minutes from the airport however which was nice and quick. If you want to just relax at a hotel, this would be a great choice. The swimming pool was great, and the gym was empty most of the time. We also appreciated that you could go down to the pool at any point and get a seat as towels are removed if you put them down before 10am, and after 30minutes if you do not return. We did try the Italian restaurant which was nice but has limited vegetarian food. The poolside restaurant was alright but the iced coffee was not nice."
