If I ever came to this part of Phuket again, I would consider SAII, but I would not intentionally come to stay at SAII unless I had to. The product is not as the brochure says. It’s a 5 star property with a 3 star attitude. That probably sums up my thoughts on this hotel.

My wife and I enjoyed our time at this property. Being right in the beach was the main highlight. The beach itself is beautiful white sand and very warm water. We also walked kilometres on it every day. We had an ocean view king with a balcony. The room was a bit dated but comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of choices. We chose not to eat other meals on the property as there were many options next to the property along the beach and in the nearby town. The town area has great food choices, stores and markets. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. My only suggestion would be for the management to offer pool side drink service with waiters coming to offer drinks and food. This seems like a missed opportunity and would have been convenient for guests.

This resort was perfect for relaxation with kids We had club membership as a result of booking club room so we had unlimited beverages throughout the day even if you are not a club member, you get Private less touristy beach Kids club with by the good classes for kids and nice care takers. You can also book a private baby sitter/nanny through the resort in case you want to go for dinner date and with return by the time club closes. My kid learnt Thai boxing, tennis Amazing breakfast every morning with lots of fresh fruits Even adults have good classes such as wind surfing /sailing all included in resort fees. Just on the beach you can take snorkeling tour, very reasonable and can decide to go whenever you want. My kid had an introductory snorkeling tour Very close to the resort to the beach, you can also go to Maya beach club if you are in the mood for some cool vibe, look up the club it’s amazing too so while your kids are at kids club you can be at maya beach club The staff is polite and they also arranged for mini vans for us to go to big Buddha for a additional payment
