Staying at Amari Phuket gives you some privacy, solitude and keeps you from the crowd and noise at Patong Beach. The resort is beachfront and offers a quiet beach, 2 large swimming pools, two beachside restaurants and a few shops. There are other facilities such as a spa, a fitness center and kid's corner to make your stay pleasant. Besides, there are speed boats around if you want to ride, with fee. The staffs are all polite and professional. The property is clean and nice to walk around. You will enjoy swimming in the sea or the pools or just sunbathing. However, 2 little things here: transportation, actually either from the airport to the resort or going from one place to another in Phuket, is surprisingly expensive AND dining in the resort is somewhat overpriced with the food being average. Having said that, the resort provides a free, one-way shuttle to go into Patong Beach 3 times a day if you need to get out. Overall, I think you will enjoy your stay there.

I would not recommend anyone to this place. I had accidentally double booked this place and another place for the wrong dates. When we got here we realized the mistake and the front desk lady ADDY made it very clear that we will not get a refund because we didnt call to let them know. I had told her that this was a clear and obvious mistake and If I had known that I made this mistake I would have called right away. She said that if Expedia allows for a refund then they would issue it for the wrong days. I called Expedia and Expedia personnel was able to call ADDY right away and help to explain the situation and ask for refund for days we weren't there. ADDY then went on to say that this isn't enough and that she needs management approval. She called management in front of us and literally told them how we shouldn't get a refund and that we didnt call to inform them after we explained everything to her. She literally lied to our face and refused to give us a refund for an honest mistake. She made us call Expedia and said it wasn't enough. She said she would ask management and then went on to tell them she didnt want us to get refunded. What a joke of a place. we still stayed there. It doesn't end there. They said that the minibar was complimentary. We had 4 beers in our 3 days and still got charged. Literally ADDY and the person that took us to the room said Minibar was on the house but still got charged. There were more issues but not enough room on this review to say.

The staff were absolutely amazing. They were/are extremely friendly and inviting and never make you feel anything is too much trouble. The property itself feels like a ‘true’ holiday destination - it has many options to relax or to go ‘hard’ if you desire that.
