“Would definitely return”

Hotel Tilto is superbly positioned right in the middle of Vilnius, a couple of minutes walk from Cathedral Square. It has been a hotel only since October 2008 and is clean, very well maintained, with very friendly staff. Only drawback - very minor - is that the breakfast room is small so that if the hotel is full, there is a short wait for a free table. But, without reservation, we would return and recommend it for anyone looking for a great location and comfortable rooms.

“I would certainly stay there again!”

The Hotel Tilto is ideally situated for exploring Vinius on foot. It is very clean, very compact with very helpful staff. Our room was fairly small but immaculte, the size didn't bother us because we spent most of the time exploring Vilnius in the snow. We stayed in February and were disappointed that the restaruant did not open at all in the evenings, however, there were plenty of places to eat nearby. If you are looking for a reasonably priced central hotel, look no further. We have travelled all over Europe and this was a very good, compact hotel. The breakfast room was very cramped but the breakfast was fine.

“Comfortable hotel in an ideal position.”

I spent 4 nights at The Tilto and was very happy with everything. The room was big - we had paid a bit extra for a deluxe room and very comfortable. We didn't have a bath but the shower was more like a wet room. The Cathedral was at the bottom of the street with all the other attractions nearby. The staff were very efficient - wake up call and breakfast on our last morning was on time and anything we needed was delivered as soon as we asked for it. In an ideal work tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice after walking about in the day but we were more than happy with everything. Didn't manage to have a drink in the bar though!

“Good location, value for money, friendly hotel”

On a fairly quiet back street, within five minutes walking distance of the Cathedral and Gedimino Street, Hotel Tilto is ideally positioned. I was impressed with the security on reception, vetting guests and visitors alike. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast every morning of our 10 day stay and very reasonably priced, well cooked lunch/dinner on occasion (the kitchen closes at 9.00 p.m. and the bar at 10.00 p.m.) Reception booked our trip to Trakai and the tour operator collected us promptly at 11.00 a.m. Very well organised, clean and friendly hotel - I would stay there again - the Cathedral bells at 7.30 a.m. are a delightful way to start the day (no need for the alarm clock).

“Very reasonable.”

Very nice hotel and good value for money. Also well located and quiet location. Minor complaints: -rather lacklustre breakfasts. -Hot water took a long time to come through to the shower (4-5 minutes)

“Vilnius Adventure”

The Hotel Tilto appeared to have been recently renovated and is ideal for travellers on a budget. The reception are helpful and have a number of leaflets. The only points to note are that the bedrooms (at least mine) was quite cramped or compact so much so that there is no wardrobe just coat hangers on the wall? Nice bathroom with a large shower. Free internet access for researching your trips. The breakfasts weer plentiful but again for a hotel that has around 20 rooms there was only enough space for approx. 10 people in the small breakfast room. To this extent meant you sometimes had to have breakfast with a complete stranger. Not a problem just not ideal!

“Not bad”

Pretty decent location altough found that the room I had at the front by the road was too noisy first thing in the morning so arranged to move to the back which was fine
