“Very good overnight stop-off hotel”

The positioning of this hotel is in the middle of Trenton, which is not a very exciting town. The hotel itslef is relatively new, and there is plenty of car-parking in the multi-storey car park next door - although this costs $12 per night from memory. The quality of the hotel and the rooms is excellent, and it provided a very cost-effective overnight stop on our northbound journey from North Carolina to Cape Cod in Massachussets. The breakfast (a $15 per person additional charge) is among the best that we have ever experienced - with a selection of fresh fruits, cereals, muffins, bagels, bacon, sausages, etc with omelettes and eggs cooked fresh to order. The only issue we had was that on the night we were staying, there had obviously been a big party - possibly a wedding party - and there was a great degree of noise, shouting and crying in the corridors until 4 o'clock in the morning - although this probably wasn't helped because our room was directly opposite the entrance to the lifts. This did prevent us from having a good night's sleep - but it was hardly the fault of the hotel. So, overall, I would recommend the hotel as a very good value overnight stop. I do not know if there is anything to do in the area should you be staying for a longer period.
