“Singapore trip”

very nice hotel with good restaurant, although breakfast was completely disorganised probably due to lack of staff. it's not in the centre but they have a shuttle bus to Orchard road. it is very convenient if you want to visit Botanic gardens which I highly recommend, especially Orchid garden which was fantastic.

“Good Value”

Spent 7 nights. Room was clean, and well appointed. Staff helpful. Hotel is a little out of city centre but runs a free shuttle to downtown and back about every hour from 9am to least back at 10pm. It is close to the botanic gardens. Internet was expensive S$10 per session in business centre, but overall hotel was good value.

“Nice place”

It is a conveniently located near the Botanical Gardens, which were wonderful, especially for bird watching! The overall service was great. The room was very nice. We enjoyed our stay and would return there if visiting again.

“BEEN BACK OVER AND OVER”

This hotel is VERY CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN ...if that`s what you want.... book here...cause it`s not that expensive...considering what`s around you...and the prices they charge. I must of been back 4 to 5 time now.

The hotel is getting old. Some rooms are good, some rooms are not. It locates near botanical garden which is convenience for people who like to visit botanical garden. It is also close to the city, so it is not expensive to take a taxi to go to the city. The hotel is situated in the quiet residential neighborhood, so it is safe and nice. I have stayed in this hotel for a few times already. They told me they are going to demolish the building to give way to the condos. That is a pity. Otherwise, I will always come back to it.

“Friendly Singapore”

Great Hotel- a little out of city centre but this makes it alot quieter, and they have a great shuttle service running, so no problems with transport.

“Home away from home”

I stayed with wife and two teen sons for 3 nights. The hotel is clean.Rooms are spacious- we stayed in 2 superior rooms- and amenities are sufficient. The bathroom is very good. We stayed in the Plymouth wing. Though the hotel is not near any MRT station ( Newton and Orchard seem to be equidistant) public bus services are excellent and cabs are easily available. Though the check in time is 2 PM, the hotel allowed us to check in at 1045. Appreciate that. They also allowed us to check out at 1 PM- one hour beyond official check out time. Vegetarian options in menu are very very limited though. All in all, a comfortable stay and we would gladly return for another stay.

“we stay here every year”

All the staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. They certainly go out of there way to help. The location is great, with a shuttle bus every hour to Orchard road and the first bus for the day goes to the botanical gardens. Great breakfast with something for everyone. We have stayed there for the past 12 years.

“Great for price”

This hotel had excellent service. Accomodations were great for the price. It is a bit off the beaten path (5 minutes from downtown by taxi) but well worth the difference in cost. Our only complaint was our toilet - low water pressure made it difficult to flush entirely. Can lead to embarrassing situations...
