Hotel with International Standard in ShirdiPosted 31-May-2014
Pros: Rooms, staff, cleanliness and service.
Cons: Travel desk experience and packing food for long-distance travel. Pick-up and drop-off from train station could be made better by the hotel.
Location: Shani Shignapur, Trayambakeshwar temple near Nasik and Grushneshwar temple near Aurangabad, Ajanta and Ellora caves.
St. Laurn hotel was exactly as described in their website. The rooms were large, clean and well-maintained. One family room can hold four people very easily. It has two full bathrooms, which is very convenient. Bath amenity kits provided by them are of high quality. The air conditioning worked flawlessly. Lotus restaurant was simply awesome! We had one of the best food ever at this restaurant. They aslo know how to cook for children and babies, which was fantastic. They have a high chair too.The restaurant staff were very cordial and service was top-notch. They also operate a free shuttle to the Sai Baba temple. I would have given 5 stars but deducted one star for the following reasons: We asked the restaurant to pack food for us for the train journey. I don't think they are used to packing food for long-distance travel. The packages were so flimsy that most of the food got mixed up and eventually went bad before we were able to eat it. They should figure out a better way to package food. Over all it was a wonderful stay. I recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Shirdi, especially if you are from outside India and/or traveling with children.

No way matches the name!Posted 31-Mar-2014
I was probably one of those who was lured by the brand of this hotel and the experience was simply pathetic! With a room night tariff of 4500 INR (includes my daughter's additional pax) the amenities fall far short of expectations- no tea maker in the room even! Stay away from the change room of the swimming pool for you might be choked of bad odour! I will recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to throw away his/ her money into the waste! The staffs (excluding the reception staffs ironically!), however, I must admit are courteous.

Great value for money stay and excellent foodPosted 06-Jan-2014
Pros: Food, rooms, activities, temple access, ambience, staff, etc.
Cons: Coffee/tea maker in rooms.
Location: One can visit Shani Shingnapur, 70 km away
Overall a great experience, with very helpful staff. The deluxe rooms are huge and great to stay in while the standard rooms are comfortable. We drove down to Shirdi, the hotel had ample free parking as well as someone to wash the car for a nominal charge of Rs.100. The travel desk was also helpful. Only two issues (i) the water in the pool was murky and (ii) the standard rooms did not have a tea/coffee maker. Due to the rush there was a slight delay in making rooms available to us but that was compensated by way of a late check out the following day. Overall for the price, it was a great place with a 24 hour shuttle service to the temple.

The hotel bathroom did not have the light working and no hot water (after 2 showers). Overall I am not impressed with the service and dining.

Hotel still under construction and not cleanPosted 04-May-2013 on Hotels.com
I would not like to stay at this hotel again for a variety of reasons. The hotel and the rooms are big but they dont know how to maintain the hotel.Other nearby hotels such as Sun n Sand offer better value for money.

Decent place in Shirdi...could have been betterPosted 04-Apr-2012
Pros: Comfort of the room
Cons: Lack of clean look in the common areas
Location: Close to Sai temple
Good & warm staff. As the hotel is still under completion it adds to the mess around. The tiles in the bath had stains and the granite in the corridors too had a dirty look.
