WelcomHeritage Woodville Palace is located in four acres of greenery and yet it is only a kilometer from the bustling mall. Today, the palace is one of the finest places to stay in Shimla. A special attraction of the palace is “The Hollywood Bar 1930s” which has a galaxy of signed photographs of film stars like Clark Gable, Laurel and Hardy, Katherine Hepburn etc. Furthermore, the palace has a Tiger Lounge with a galaxy of photographs signed by Indian and European royalty. The estate on which WelcomHeritage Woodville palace has a history dating to 1865 when Sir William Mansfield ,Commander –in –Chief of the Imperial Army, became the first resident of this chjarming estate.

The Holywood Bar 1930's-There is a tasteful display of signed photographs of the 1930’s Hollywood stars.

The House of the Rising Sun-A multi cuisine restaurant, The House of the Rising Sun was recently inaugurated by none other than Indian film star Amitabh Bachchan. The architecture of the restaurant is truly appealing. You can see the bamboos and deodars through the glass structure of the restaurant.
