“Great hotel and value for money”

We picked this hotel as the prices in Manhatten were too expensive. The Subway is only a 10 min walk as the same for the shopping centre Queens plaza there you find all the big stores including Macys. JFK is around a 20 - 30 mins by cab or you can be collected by the hotel shuttle bus for $6. The breakfasts were great as well as the meals and very affordable prices. All the staff were very helpfuly at the reception and in the restraunt. Ignore the negative reports about this hotel.

“Overnighter”

Stayed overnight ready to be fresh for an early morning flight.The room was amazingly spacious and clean.The staff very curteous. Shuttle bus to and from the airport was very prompt Overall a great place to stay .This being my third time visiting

“Very good value hotel”

We found the staff very helpful - especially the big guy on the desk. Everywhere was clean. Efficient lifts. The 7-10 min walk to/from the nearest sub-way was never a problem even in the early hours. The speed of getting into Manhattan was good - definitely made a saving by not staying in Manhattan - really worthwhile! Good local shops - good bakery on way to sub-way.

“Clean friendly hotel”

Basic hotel but met all our needs. Service was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. Close to subway which was convenient for getting into Manhattan.Hotel provided a shuttle service to and from the airport. Would recommend this hotel if you dont want to be in the midst of all the husle and bustle of NYC.

“Very impressed”

This is a good hotel which we picked for being cheap with en suite bathroom. The staff were all very nice and helpful especially one guy on reception who told us how much to pay for cabs etc. The free shuttle bus to La Guardia airport, which is the best airport to use for this hotel, was a bonus. My only criticism was my bed which was far too hard but my daughter said hers was fine. I will definitely stay here again.

“We all enjoyed our stay”

shuttle service was great. Rooms were clean and adequate. Hotel was 10 minutes max walk to metro and further 5 mins walk to shopping Mall. Metro ride was no hassle at all, 30/40 mins to downtown Manhatten. Hotel in a safe area, never felt uncomfortable walking around even at night. Really enjoyed my stay here and it was really good value for money.

“Would definately go back”

I enjoyed my stay at the Pan American hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, the bathroom towels were changed daily - I couldn't really find any fault. The subway is only 10 minutes walk away too - the ride into Manhattan takes about 35 minutes during rush hour

“Very good Hotel”

The location was good, very near the subway and places to eat although we ate at the Hotel and were completely satisfied with the service. Clean towells every day.Staff very responsive.Very good for people on a budget.We would recommend this Hotel for people that want to travel into Manhatton and return to a quiet location.

“Simple the Best”

We were very impressed. great Hospitality and information provided was exceptional. We had great breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, very reasonably priced and great service also. We stay in room 425 on the fourth floor and faced the front of the hotel. location from the hotel to the subway was literally a 10 minute walk and on the same side as the Hotel. Travelling into Manhattan was very easy. Use V or R lines on the Grand Ave Newtown subway. Queens Shopping centre is amazing, directly opposite of the subway with a very big Macy's better than the one in 34th Street. This Hotel is definately recommended with a Shuttle bus that picks you up and drops you off to the Hotel or the airport. $35 dollars if you wish to take the taxi like we had done. About $72 to check out later from the hotel if room is available. $70 to do the Tour. We did and it was such a great opportunity and we saw all the sites needed to see.
