Certainly not a 4 star as advertised.Posted 02-Aug-2014
Very basic. Only one pillow each which wasn't very comfortable. One of the bedside lights didn't work. They do not give any explanation on how to call reception from the room so you end up going to reception if you needed anything. Wifi only worked for about a day and a half of our stay and even then intermittently, we did report this but never got fixed in our 4 day stay.

Great location for trips to Nice and MonacoPosted 17-Jun-2014
Pros: The staff we dealt with were the best.
Cons: Lower the breakfast price.
Location: Lovely location. Easy access to A8 and close to Monaco and Nice.
Perched on top of the mountain, Eze Vista provides a lovely view of the Mediterranean. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is on the edge of the small town where you can have dinner, drinks, or buy groceries. While the breakfast is adequate and there is outdoor seating, it is over priced. Overall, a very pleasant visit.

Good location, but hardly 4 starPosted 28-May-2014 on Hotels.com
We didn't have a lot of options for Grand Prix weekend, but eza vista was conveniently located and at 4 star rating (and $1000cdn a night) we had reasonably high expectations. The lobby was a bit tired looking and had no real redeeming decor to speak of. The sole part time receptionist was pleasant enough. Our room felt more like a dorm room in its minimal utilitarian furnishings and (lack of) decor. Cheap mattresses and only 3 flat foamy pillows in a 2 bed unit. We made a trip out to the pool, but quickly changed our minds. The pictures looked much better. While I would recommend this hotel for those looking for a convenient location in Eze (just a short walk up to the chèvre d'or) especially those travelling with children and needing a two bedroom with a kitchenette. But if your are looking for any sort of charm or service, look elsewhere. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Self service storage building onto "hotel"Posted 19-May-2014 on Hotels.com
Very disappointing as a 4 star hotel, as 3 it would have rated Average. The rooms have a kitchenette. Feels a bit like a concrete storage building made into a hotell.. The pool is only open in summer starting June.

Great venue!!Posted 30-Apr-2014
Cons: Check in.
Location: Visit Chateau Eza, have a drink on the Terrace...stunning views and lovely staff. And worth every cent of the €6 to get up to the Cactus Gardens.
Simply loved the place. It is ideally situated in the village for all the amenities. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. We were lucky enough to have a balcony with a view, some on the ground floor do not, so if you can try to avoid the ground floor when booking. The pool was not open during our visit, apparently doesn't open until June. Of note, checking in was a slight problem. We arrived around 1300, and had to wait until after 1600 as Reception was shut.

Scenic location right above the Fragonard labs!Posted 01-Apr-2014 on Hotels.com
Entire experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left was excellent. Staff was very friendly. Even matched the Hotels.com rate when we extended our stay. Skip the breakfast of course and go down to local boulangerie. Or better yet cook your own breakfast in the fully functional kitchen. Will definitely stay again.

not what we expected...Posted 28-Mar-2014 on Hotels.com
considering this is a 4-star accommodation, it was pretty disappointing for a couple of reasons: - no internet if you have an apple device (forget about wifi if you have iphones or ipads) - the double bed consists of two twin beds next to each other - you have to clean the room yourself (dishes and trash) if you want to avoid a cleaning fee of eur 50 - views from our room were blocked by trees - no channels in english on tv - the sink is such that you can barely wash your hands - no carpets in the room - all cold tile all in all very, very disappointing - stay away!

Beautiful ViewsPosted 05-Mar-2014
Nice balcony views with our free upgraded room. 2 bedrooms with full kitchen & 2 bathrooms. Internet wasn't the best. Towels were dirty! and stained! Free parking. Good location.
