Nice hotel,shame about the drinks!Posted 23-Jul-2014
Cons: Bar could be stocked up with regular alcohol , eg red wine & bacardi as neither were available during our stay.
Location: Close to all attractions in Liverpool.
Stayed here for the Open golf as not far away.Been near Liverpool attractions was a bonus!

Bad connection!Posted 15-Jul-2014
Pros: The location.
Cons: Mainly the internet connection.
The location of the hotel is great but there is no lift, the Wi Fi connection was dreadful...the signal was very week and constantly cut off. It was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel and it proved to be more expensive as we had to go off site to cafés and bars to get a good internet signal. Our room wasn't ready for us when we arrived and there were broken ítems in the room e.g. the lamp and 2 of the 4 clothes hangers. We only got 2 bath towels and had to repeatedly ask for hand towels and sometimes the room wasn't cleaned daily. Overall a disappointing experience.

Stay at the Liverpool campanile hotelPosted 08-Jul-2014
Pros: It was close to albot docks.
Cons: Cleaning could be better. Doors to be quiter The staff was very good
Location: It was close to albot docks the location is good There is a Kentucky and Mac Donald's across road. And not too far from town either
We stayed for 3 nights. First night we asked to move as the room was bottom floor and close to the entry. So we had a lot of noise during night and day. And also smoke seeping in when the door opened and closed outside The second room was better. And bit bigger. But the noise was the same banging doors all night long. Family opposite us was in out playing football in car park. We was not happy The bathrooms smelt of urine The hotels abroad are so much superior. As we have stayed in a few. So the. 100.00 night sat night we paid. Definatley was not worth it. M Will not stay again.

Noisy & basicPosted 29-Jun-2014
During our stay a number of youths were running up & down the corridors during the night banging on doors & entertaining! Security did appear but only once & there were not effective. I would not recommend or return

Walking distance to Albert DockPosted 28-Jun-2014
Pros: Location and proximity to Beatles tour in Albert Dock. Very nice breakfast with a wide variety of options. Shower head was amazing!
Cons: The mattress on the twin size bed had a very deep indentation so that I sunk in to the middle every time I tried to sit down.
Location: Walking distance to Echo Stadium, Albert Dock and Liverpool One bus station.
The hotel was in a good location for walking to the Albert Dock and Liverpool One. If we had known how far the hotel was from the Sea Terminal, we would have planned better. We were under the impression that it was walking distance with suitcases. I would not recommend that to anyone else. Take a bus or taxi. Once at the hotel, it is very easy to walk to the various Docks to visit museums or eat out. Also not too far from Liverpool One bus station and shopping area, but we did this without our suitcases. If taking day trips, walking to the Lime Street Station would be simple and reasonable to do.

Good budget hotelPosted 16-Jun-2014
Booked as a secret hotel for a hen doo. Room over looked the docks but there are rooms that over look the carpark. Small room but enough room For 2 people, room was very hot no air con. Only one plug socket in room by the door Good location free parking for a one night stay it was fine for a budget stay nothing fancy.

Would not recommend this hotel at all.Posted 25-May-2014
Pros: Overall impression was poor.Did not look around the hotel or avail of any facilities but looked ok.
Cons: See above. The rooms need updating & a good spring clean is required. The beds need replaced.
Location: Best thing about the hotel.Central Liverpool location.Easy access to town & bus station.
Terrible room.1st room shown was not very clean.Cobwebs around 2 of the 3 lights in the room. The wires of one wall light above the bed were very visible. The fitting had broken & the light was lying at right angles to where it should have been. The bathroom was not clean.A lot of the grouting was brown & discoloured.Where the grouting met the bath it was missing in areas. The beds were very old.One of them had collapsed in the middle & it looked like a boat shape when you lay on it.The others creaked & groaned. They showed us another room , a disabled one on the ground floor. It didn't look too clean either. The bathroom was very like the 1st room shown. We arranged to cancel our reservation & moved that evening to another hotel.

Nice Location, Value for moneyPosted 21-May-2014
Pros: Location, Free Parking, Spacious Room & excellent view from window looking over Kings Dock
Cons: Bathroom definitely needs renovation as well as room. But if you are not too bothered about condition then it doesn't matter as long as it's clean.
Location: Like I said its just on walking distance of Kings Dock and hardly a mile away from Albert Dock & Liverpool One shopping Mall.
Well I got room very cheap. I would say for the price its value for money. Hotel location was very convenient, it's just on walking distance to Kings Dock & if you fancy walking, Albert Dock & Liverpool One shopping Mall is 1 mile away. It has free parking, Lady on Reception was exceptionally helpful, on seeing me with my family (wife & 2 yrs daughter) she upgraded my room and gave me a spacious room with 1 double bed & 1 single bed, which my daughter really enjoyed although I can't say that about my neighbours next door as my daughter was creating havoc with her funny noises. However, room itself was very basic and needs renovation particularly bathroom but it was neat & clean. bedsheets had nice fabric conditioner smell & it was pleasant view from room as you can see Kings Dock.
