“Good value for money”

I was quite impressed with this hotel. It is described as a 'budget hotel' which can sound a little off-putting but overall the quality of this hotel, in my opinion, is probably slightly superior to your more well known 'budget hotel' brands. The interior of the rooms are less 'plastic'. The room and shower was clean. The bed was comfortable. I was also quite lucky to get a room overlooking the docks which was very pretty. I chose this hotel because of the location close to the convection centre, reasonable pricing, parking space and wi-fi which was all included in the rates. The location of the hotel is ideal for the Convection Centre and Arena and you are 10mins walk for The One shopping centre and various tourist attractions around Albert Docks. As an economy hotel I believe it met more than my expectations.

“Very helpful and clean”

We were very impressed by the hotel staff. The staff in reception were friendly and efficient. The room was spotlessly clean when we arrived and was cleaned to a high standard every day we were there. I mentioned that one light was not working and when we went back to the room a few hours later it had been fixed. Overall an excellent hotel.

“Would definitely stay here again”

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and the service was exceptional. The breakfast buffet was very good and included cereals, toast, croissants, bread, cold meats, fresh fruit, yoghurt and tea and coffee. You could upgrade to a Full English breakfast for £2.50 but we did not bother as the continental breakfast was ample for us. The hotel was conveniently located on the waterfront and a short walk from the Albert Dock, Liverpool One and the City Centre. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

“Budget at its utter best!”

Cheap as chips but had the quality expected of much more expensive alternatives. The staff I met couldn't have been more helpful or friendlier. Bathroom was surprisingly much better than I'd expect (i.e was faultless) as normally this is where I find budget hotels are let down -there was no damp/mould/broken tiles etc. Linen of top quality (bed and bath). Anyone looking for a budget hotel would have to have seriously high expectations to be anything other than satisfied with this hotel.

“Good value and well-positioned hotel”

For the price and location alone i would recommend this hotel. We had a room overlooking the dock which had a lovely view and the hotel is a 5min walk from Albert Dock. The room was comfortable and clean. It did get quite noisy at night (other guests) and the cleaners were busy from an early hour. The staff in reception were extremely helpful, printing directions and info about the area for us. However,if you're after luxury or something a bit special, you should definitely go elsewhere and pay a bit more.
