“This was truly a place of paradise, the views were breathtaking and very relaxing ...”
The hotel was first rate, the hotel service and people were friendly and helpful and made our stay truly unforgettable. We were treated almost like royality and could not do enough for you, the hotel itself was beautiful and every view was beautiful and some breathtaking, the food was truly fantastic and wish we were still there
“Beautiful Hotel”
This hotel deserves its 5* rating through and through. It's a beautiful resort with every amenity available on site. There are several pools; all equipped with sunloungers (and a policy not to "reserve" your lounger by putting your belongings on it!!) and staff who regularly bring you menus for the poolside bar. There are 5 restaurants on site as well, giving good variety, and eliminating the need to travel elsewhere to eat. There is traditional Punjabi, traditional Goan, Italian (that actually tastes authentic), the bar which does tapas-style bar nibbles, and the beautiful beachside restaurant "Palms" which does freshly caught seafood. Each and every restaurant does beautiful food - the best by far at any hotel. If you order something "western" it actually tastes like it should. The only downside of staying on the resort to eat is that the food is quite pricey, though you do get what you pay for. It can add up over time though, if you are eating there 3 times a day. There are also shops on the resort (admittedly, more expensive than the shops outside of the resort) but they sell a range of things from souvenirs to clothing. The downside to this hotel is that it is not within walking distance of the nearest town (5 mins drive away) though there is a small grocery shop just outside the complex for nibbles (the minibar is very expensive). Customer service was excellent - they are always polite and obliging and they all speak English really well. Would definitely return!
“Liked it so much we didn't leave the resort all weekend”
My 8 year old daughter especially loved this resort. The pool has meandering channels with slides in between that enchanted her. She had so much fun she disappeared for a couple of hours a day into Camp Hyatt, the kids program, to play and create art. The beach had a gentle slope where she felt comfortable playing in the waves. The restaurants were really good and a nice change from general Indian food buffets.
“Probably the best place to stay in goa”
Very polite and helpfull staff. The best Hotel food I,ve ever experienced. definitely five star hotel.
“Best holiday”
Excellent Service, very clean, good food, best hotel we have stayed so far and will stay again when next in Goa.
“Goan Oasis”
Absolutely wonderful hotel, can't recommend this highly enough. The hotel and facilities are excellent - lovely rooms, excellent restaurants serving high quality food and great beach and pool facilities. However the biggest plus point for the Park Hyatt in Goa goes to their staff. Without exception, all staff at this hotel did their utmost to ensure you had a great stay, were extremely friendly and very willing to help - a shining example of excellence in customer service. We would love to return to this hotel again.
“Great Hotel Great service and Children friendly”
Thank you so much to everyone at the Park Hyatt for a fantastic stay and excellent service provided. All the staff were so friendly and made our stay excellent. we did not want to come back but unfortunately we had too! I would definitely come again and would recommend this hotel to anyone considering going to Goa. Thank you again,
“Not as good as it should be”
The Park Hyatt is a large hotel based on the concept of a Goan village. The rooms are extremely nice and the village concept works very well except for the restaurant complex. All four restaurants open off the same village square and are not air conditioned, which makes them extremely hot as the cooking is within the restaurant itself. The design of this complex means that no breeze gets in to the square and it is airless even in the open air. The pool is fantastic, huge with slides for kids on two levels. The staff do not seem as well trained as they could be, and they seem to have trouble understanding English in many cases, maybe just our London accents! Worst of all this hotel seems incapable of making a decent cup of tea! Overall pretty good, but could be better for a 5 star. Also on a main road with only 1 local type restaurant reachable on foot.
“Very relaxing”
Very clean, very comfortable although the plumbing was rather noisy. Very mixed nationalities with a lot of Russian guests
“An oasis in the south of Goa”
The Hyatt is a beautifully groomed and well appointed hotel. The rooms are are large and housekeeping did a great job of keeping the rooms really clean. The sunken bath is quite a treat!! (Handy hint: run the rain-forest shower with the bath taps and that will help fill the bath up quickly). One of the best features of this particular hotel is that the Hyatt employs a team of micro biologists, that constantly monitor the standard of clean water and quality of food served. What this meant to me as a tourist, was peace of mind to clean my teeth with the tap water in the bathroom, the ability to have ice in my drinks, and eat ice-cream! The one complaint l would have about this hotel is the restaurants, they are expensive and some what 'over westernized in their style of menu.' A great pity as l was really looking forward to eating truly great and genuine Goan and Indian food!!
