Hi Mr Anonymous Thank you so much for your kind words so please allow me to respond to your criticisms Firstly though I would point out your total disrespect with regards to our Covid procedures upon arrival but not wearing a mask and this vein continued throughout your stay We did have a water issue on 2 separate days not over 2 days and we did our best to sort but it is fair to say that since you left it has not happened again ??? . The second time was a 10.45pm when you had returned to have a shower having showered at least 3 times that day which is fine but giving that we have a huge tank on that floor as I say I’m at a lost as to where all that water went ? You rang down that evening and it was sorted within an hour and you continued with your shower which I’m guessing was when you had your shave . This brings me to your second point about shaving giving that in the morning you asked to leave your bags while you went to Babbacombe I offered to come collect and take you too the station to compensate for your i convenience. However on cleaning your room( which took over an hour ) I found the shower waste to be blocked by body hair not stubble In nearly 8 years of doing this I have never had this problem and I truly hope you show more respect for peoples property in the future As I explained to you that you are invited into effectively our home and you are treated as friends not just guests We address you by your first name and work hard to give you a great experience not just a stay but you were just angling for a refund of one night so a 33% refund for having to wait for some more hot water . Incidentally the only people I would like to apologise to is the other guests on your floor which suffered no water on the first morning So on that note I wish you and your lady all the best but do hope you don’t choose to return
