"This “resort” is run down. The staff does the best with what they are given. They try. There were days with no power, no water and some restaurants weren’t open. Small gnats come up out of the sink every night/morning. House keeping didn’t come every day. Booking excursions were a good escape (sadly) I did hear that the resort will be closing soon. It should and make room for the new, bigger and better place. The place is falling apart. "

Food was good definitely the buffet I think had the best options. Multiple pools was definitely a nice touch sometimes you just wanted to chill somewhere more quiet! "This was our second stay at Marina El Cid and we loved it as much as our first. Beautiful resort! Staff were incredible, they work so hard to make your stay enjoyable. We love that you have access to all 3 hotels, it made for lots of options throughout the day for swimming, entertainment and meals. The food was delicious! Our favourite restaurants were the French and Teppanyaki. They are working hard to restore the beach but if you walk past the marina there is a beautiful beach to enjoy. We hope to be back again one day. "
