Maintenance of the rooms is very poor. Dirty room amenities. Ambience is not good. Hotel staffs not courteous. Bills were not provided to me by the hotel staff after checking out. Hotel restaurant is badly maintained, very dirty and unhygienic.

I would never stay here again. The taxi driver didn't even know where it was, he had to ask 5 different people. The shower was dirty. We didn't get the room paid for. The room was not what was portrayed on hotels.com. The bed was hard, the room was cold, no coffee/tea making facilities. The area really did not feel safe.

Ridiculous.
I booked a ticket for 899 on the app. When I got there, the manager rudely told me that it was not possible and refused to give me a room. Finally after a lot of bargaining, he offered a room for 1500; didn't have a choice so I took it. There was no water in the room, the wifi didn't work for half the time. When I tried taking back the deposited key from the reception, after coming back from work, the manager, initially refused to accept I had even deposited the key. Ridiculous place with ridiculous people. I guess I saw more of Delhi than I would have liked to.

It took me a while to find the hotel as their address is not correct on google maps.. Its a good place to stay though.. There was a problem for a short time regarding the water supply but they sorted it out soon

we were denied for booking done by hotels.com they don't entertain this website booking at all. a bad experience even hotel.com can't do anything for there refusal. so overall bad or negative experience from both companies.

Good place for a reasonable price
I stayed two nights at La sapphire hotel in May 2015. I am happy with their room facilities, staff service and other extended services. They arranged a Delhi site visit for me for a reasonable price. This hotel is situated at Mahipalpur where easily accessible by public transport even.

Average hotel near Delhi Airport
Hi, I stayed at La Sapphire Hotel, Mahipalpur for 2 nights and 2 days in Mar 2015. The purpose of the visit was to attend a few business meetings near the airport and chose this hotel for the short stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, right next to the highway and in the midst of a number of other hotels. The room was average, nothing great to talk about in terms of facilities and cleanliness. The price was high for the comfort offered. Breakfast was pretty ordinary with very little on offer. I was disappointed with the bathrooms as they were smelly. Overall, its ok for a night long stay if objective is to have a short transit while travelling but not ideal for a longer stay or with family. Regards Vijay

Nice hotel close to airport.
We were to reach the hotel by evening. But as we were held up, I called the hotel reception and told that I would be coming at 8 P.M. But again I had to call them at 8, to tell that I can only make it by 12 A.M. Receptionist said no problem.The hotel is very nearer to airport(very reason why I chose it) and though not on main road, could easily be located. Ultimately we reached at 2 A.M(25th)! The receptionist received us smilingly and enquired whether we had our dinner. Rooms are neet and tidy, but arrangements like free mineral water, tea bags , dry milk sachets and kettle were not provided. Buffet breakfast was o.k(not great). As our flight was at 8 A.M the day after(26th), I asked for an early break fast by 6. The night receptionist said o.k but did nothing. We were almost forced to leave without having one! But once again the proximity to airport helped.

Cheap hotel handy to airport
Taxi found it difficult to find but we had trouble with a number of taxis in Delhi as they constantly refused to put their metre on. Had to move from the first room as a power failure but second room was fine. We left before the breakfast and they were unable to pack us any food but we didn't give them much notice, only arriving in the evening. In all a cheap hotel which was very convenient for a short stopover.

No water for 2 hours
There were no water for 2 hours when I needed it most. The hotel boy provided a bucket of water after repeatedly called for water to attend my nature call. It was restored later. I wont stay here again.

Cheated.
The area by the airport was dreary and the hotel was ok. I left at a different time than my ex wife who had to catch a later flight. I settled the bill and paid for the cab to the airport with the understanding from the desk clerk that my ex wife would not have to pay anything more and that she would use their free shuttle to the airport. When it cam time for her to leave they told her she would have to pay some additional "taxes" and that I had used the free shuttle so she would have to pay for a cab. not a lot of money, but dissapointing to be treated like that.

They tried to overcharge us and asked rs.950 of taxes whiche we didn't pay. After refusing to pay the amount decreased to rs. 210. We were probably the only customers there and there was no breakfast buffee, airport shuttle and "executive room" were a joke and the whole hotel was something not to recommend! Only good things were that there was warm water in the shower and the location is quite near to airport.

2 stars at best. Promises of down blankets, pillow menus, microwaves, inroom safes, King bed, seperate dining area etc... not happening. And when I dared to suggest that it was wrong to promise all those things when they didn't provide them Indergeet at the desk got angry at me and told me that it was wrong to complain as I got a good price and I didn't need. He was really rude. He basically said that if they didn't write those things no-one would book there.

Hard choice to make
I've stayed with this property from the days when it was Hotel Blue Sapphire which was run down and scary to where it is now - La Sapphire Airport Hotel - a hotel that's had some nice work done but seems to be showing a little too much wear. I've liked staying here because it's easy to find, they give you a free airport drop (note: not pick-up) , the water was always hot provided you flipped the switch on the individual water heater, the rooms were always very clean (at least that hasn't changed) and the rooms had been modernized and updated with comforts added. The last few visits have gotten progressively worse, this last being no hot water because the heater did not work (won't go into details, just trust me here), the toilet that would never stop, furnishings that looked as if they were taken from the old Blue Sapphire - all this after a long 15 hour flight. Oh, but the room WAS clean. Sorry guys, I'm looking elsewhere on my next visit.

A reasonable place to stay near IGA Delhi
Continue to use this hotel on transits through IGA New Delhi primarily because it is an easy in and out without much effort. The rooms seem to be consistently clean and haven't suffered too much since the remodel due to the commonwealth games. Although the area is noisy, some rooms provide a better buffer than others - ask to see several until you're certain you'll be settled in. Pretty standard fare here.

Worst hotel decision of my life. Bed had a hard foam mattress and a prehistoric pillow and whilst clean when married with the extreme noise and dust of the area and the aircon which even on its lowest setting was loud, led to no sleep - would have been better staying in the areas 45 min away where I had been than try to be near to the airport. Their car is a very old Indica with luggage on the roof. Too much money for too little. A bad bad decision for a bad bad hotel in a bad bad area.

This hotel should be considered nothing other than a place to get some rest between flights, due to its location close to the airport. However it is difficult to find because it is off the main road. The rooms look much bigger and better in the photos than in real life

Not much to say about this one. It's clean, fairly comfortable, and must be fairly popular given the remodel that it had only a few (6 or so) months back that is now showing wear. Pluses are hot water and restaurant, comfortable and clean rooms, close to airport. Bad? Check in desk attendant - rude, very rude.

Watch out for the dodgy desk manager
The desk manager at this hotel will try to rip you off incessently. He is not helpful with any information regarding travel agents, money exchangers, sim card suppliers or even using local transport to get around. Instead trying to persuade the victim, into allowing himself ( the desk manager), to organise the requirement to his financial benefit. I tried to organise a one way flight to Srinagar by triing to locate a travel agent or internet cafe. The desk manager would not give me any information and insisted he organise the flight. He tried to gouge 8,600 rupees from me initially but after some arguing he brought the price down to 7,200 rupees. I had to leave that day and had no option since I could not compare priceing. I found out later, the real price was 2,700 rupees. I was booked to stay at this hotel on my return, but after my last encounter would never stay there again, even if a was payed. Instead booked another hotel. I spoke with the hotel owner about his desk managers attitude, but he showed little interest.

Right off the plane.
The service and reception were excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and immediately took action to remedy any problem (detached hot water hose in shower) that we encountered. The location is quite close to the airport, so if scenery is a must for you, look elsewhere.

Convenient location. Clean room and bathroom. I got one free airport drop off. Any additional drop off charges are twice the actual cab fare. Other issue is not well know to all cab drivers. Overall very good for overnight stay during transit.

The location is great-close to the airport. However, you have to wait over 30 minutes to be picked up from the airport and taken to the airport, too. Also, you only receive ONE way free. The hotel is still under construction, hallway windows were left open for fumes and it was really cold throughout the rooms-no heater. The shower only has cold water, the heater does not work. There is no Internet. The restaurant next to the hotel is great food. Overall, the hotel was on the cheap side, but not worth it if you want quality and customer service.

This hotel was dirty. It's a shame because it could be nice if it were cleaned up. There was visible dust on furniture in the hallway. My room hadn't been cleaned anytime recently. There was a footprint on my bed sheet (on the bottom sheet - so inside the sheets) and there were several hairs in the bed that didn't come from my gene pool. The sink in the bathroom was clearly dirty from at least one past guest but possibly more.

I needed a place to stay overnight while waiting to catch a domestic flight to Bhubhaneshwar. I was looking for a clean place with hot shower facilities which would pick me up from the airport. There was an electrical problem in the first room, but I was quickly transferred to another room without any difficulty. Great value if you are looking for a place to crash.

Difficult to find, taxi driver had no idea, good job we pre-paid for cab at airport. Suggest put hotel phone no on booking form.Hotel was friendly, attentive, rooms were clean with good facilities for a 1 night stopover. Noisy party going on + airport noise, but party finished at 10pm.We were able to check out at 5.00am. Sadly only alcohol available was beer, so we did not sample restaurant. Overall served purpose.

NRI on a late night flight from Delhi

Less than expected, less than clean.
We needed a room for only a few hours at night while we awaited our flight from Delhi in the early morning. We were non resident Indians traveling to India for a family wedding. First off the hotel was just off the main street of other hotels in Mahipalpur extension. It was difficult for the taxi driver to find. It was a dirty, dingy location wit unsafe feeling at night. The lobby and hotel were small. The room itself had a clumsy almost masking type consistency to its door handle with a poor paint job. Inside the pillow case and bed sheets were dirty. In fact, the bed sheets had old blood stains on them. The amenities were less than furnished for a three star. There were much older looking, basic menities. The room was small. The bathroom did not have a tube or true western style shower. It was just a shower head. The soap dish in the bathroom had hair in it. It did not appear the room or bathroom floors were well clean. The hotel manager offered to change our "deluxe" room, but it was clear the standards would not be much different in a different room. We were so disappointed that we checked out after just seeing the room, eating the cost for the 2000 rupees stay. We thought it would be more comfortable to spend the night in. Delhi airport than sleeping on blood stained sheets. The only advantage of the hotel was being very close to he international airport and cheap. It definitely was not worth the savings for any traveler- stay at the beautiful new airport for a couple of hours!

A major disappointment
This hotel was chosen because it was close to the airport with a free airport pickup. The airport pickup was OK. The hotel room was a big surprise/disappointment: 1)the dining room was under renovation, thus only room service was available, 2) no toilet paper in the bathroom (and we had to ask for it from the front desk), and towels were in poor shape, 3) the room was reasonably clean, but a big rat was spotted in the hallway (scary!).
