This property affords a more-than-decent stay for the price. It's not a super-flashy property, but it's nice, and the breakfast has numerous options (eggs, sausage, bacon, beans, pancakes, toast, pastries, yogurts, cereals, coffee, juice, etc). Plus, it's only a short walk to the Cathedral, and the staff is friendly and fluent in English. If you choose to park at the hotel, please note you need to reserve a spot in advance, otherwise you'll have to park in a public garage down the street. Also, the parking garage under the hotel is extremely tight, so only small, compact vehicles are recommended (even with a subcompact car, I literally only had about 3 inches of space on either side of my side mirrors driving down the access ramp into the garage). Lastly, getting to the hotel is easy, despite having to drive in congested areas in downtown Cologne. No issues there. Overall, we had a nice stay.
