Grosvenor in Cairns is located just outside the CBD, away from the night time noise but close enough to be within walking distance to the city centre (a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive). The public bus runs from 6 AM to after midnight and a bus stop is only 100 meters away. There is a great Indian restaurant immediately next door, an Italian restaurant just around the corner and within 250 meters are located a supermarket, a range of take away food outlets, a liquor store, a 20-hour convenience store and the famous Cock & Bull English style pub/tavern (huge meals and great value).
