This hotel was ideally located only 2 blocks from the center of town. The grounds were lovely with the smell of figs from the trees in the courtyard and the sound of running water from the lovely fountain. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The owners were friendly, accommodating and very helpful.

Wonderful respite, ideal location, charming owners
The quiet inn is tucked away just 3 short blocks from the heart of the old town. The entrance is inconspicuous but delivers you into a precious walled in "secret garden" with a central fountain. The rooms are on the periphery of the garden, each with a private furnished wood porch, enveloped by excellently maintained greenery affording the utmost privacy, calm and quiet, almost like staying in your own private country house, not at all like a typical hotel. The rooms are simple but far from plain, extremely clean and oozing with charm. The propietors are on hand at all times and are natural hosts, helpful, accommodating and attentive to all details. We were there 2 nights, would have loved to linger 5 more. Someday soon.

The Perfect Boutique Stay in St. Remy
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was quaint and charming and in a perfect location, set back under the fig trees. The rooms were very comfortable - nothing fancy, but I slept great every night. The owner, Kuups (sp?) was very helpful with information about town, restaurant recommendations, events, etc. And it's very lovely just sitting outside at the hotel enjoying a glass of Rose. I would definitely recommend to friends and I would stay here again.

Amazing hotel with - surprise - lots of fig trees that you can harvest from, private rooms and kind service. But you pay for the luxury, and the price is quite steep particularly for breakfast.

A wonderful romantic location near st remy
We enjoyed our stay at hotel sous les figuiers for one night. It is a charming and romantic hotel with nIce gardens and shared spaces and excellent proximity to st remy shops and restaurants. Some rooms are a bit more classic and less updated so make sure to express a preference. Wonderful support from Catherine at checkin etc throughout our stay.

A strange claustrophobic hotel
Perhaps this was because of our visit to Van de Gogh's madhouse nearby, but this hotel left a strangely depressing and claustrophobic feeling. I could not blame the staff - the lady who welcomed us was excellent and spoke good English. Perhaps she WAS English. But the small room, 2 sq.m "garden" with locked steel doors on either side, a restroom with a wooden door etc left an impression that we are rather confined to a XIX century bedlam than to a modern hotel.

Under the Fig Trees!
A charming, thoroughly "provence" home away from home. We used St Remy as a base to travel to Nimes, Arles, Avignon and Aix-en-Provence. Each night we looked forward to getting "home" to Sous Les Figueres. It is just a short walk to wonderful restaurants. The room was delightful but not luxurious. The rustic decor and simple furnishings were well suited to its setting and its region. There is a lovely common room with a computer and reading materials that gave you an option outside of the room itself. We would go back there without hesitation.

Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et disponibles. Nous avons eu l'impression d'être dans un gîte plutôt que dans un hôtel ce qui apporte plus de convivialité. Chambre propre et lit confortable. Piscine agréable. Parking gratuit disponible sur place et fermé le soir. Petit déjeuner disponible en 2 formules avec des produits locaux et fait maison. Situé à quelques pas du centre ville. Très bonne découverte.

Zimmer sehr hübsch und mit Liebe eingerichtet ! Leider sind Steckdosen zum Teil unglücklich angebracht zum Beispiel für den zur Ausstattung gehörten Wasserkocher Perfekt wäre noch ein kleiner Kühlschrank

séjour très agréable
très bel hôtel à 3 min à pied du centre de St Rémy, très calme. Le petit déjeuner contient des produits maison (compotes) et de bonnes viennoiseries, dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de salé, peut être sur demande. Mais il est déjà très copieux. Les chambres sont bien décorées, calmes et propres. Une bibliothèque et des guides touristes sont à disposition.
