“Exceeded our high expectations”

This is a hidden gem of a location, a real "feel good" hotel. The service was always very courteous and efficient with good attention to detail - and the food in Cygnetures restaurant was "to die for"! We would love to go back.

“Lovely location but needs updating”

An idyllic location, helpful and friendly staff but badly in need of refurbishment to both public rooms, bedrooms / bathrooms / cloakrooms. Then you could enjoy a perfect summers retreat and a cruise on The Thames !

“Not overly impressed”

We stayed at this hotel because of the location as we were booked into a restaurant further up the Thames.The quality of the rooms were not up to a deluxe standard. The bathroom was extremely small, with nowhere to hang towels and paint was peeling off the coving. In the bedroom the wallpaper was ripped and peeling off the wall, there was no air conditioning and as our room was on the ground floor we had no windows to open and couldnt open the patio doors. The 2nd room that we had booked was completely different. There was a large bathroom, although no where to hang wet towels. The bedroom featured a nice 4 poster bed, but the curtains when pulled closed were torn to shreds. The service was ok, breakfast was somewhat to be desired, but not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. It certainly needs upgrading and I wouldnt stay at this hotel again.
