“Cheap & convenient”

Perfectly happy with small, very cheap and well-located hotel in Reading, although a bit run-down, it's fine for the price you pay. Pleasant staff and service.

“Nice people, unspectacular place”

The staff were really nice and accommodating. The breakfast was good. The hotel and the room was a bit run down. The room was clean but cramped and a bit cold. I would stay there again because it was cheaper than most hotels and the staff was nice, but I wouldn't recommend it to most people.

“Please, do not go to this hotel!”

I had to phone the hotel because no one answered when I rang at the door; then I was attended by a guy in pijamas at 3 o'clock in the afternoon; I had no courage to use the sheets in the bed; I slept with my clothes on to avoid be in contact with the bed blankets; the room had no toillete although they advertised "en suite luxury rooms". This is advertised as a two stars hotel! OK, I know that you should not expect a lot from a two stars hotel, but there is a minimum required. I am not even sure whether that hotel should be open at all! (why did I stay? because I wanted to prove myself I was capable of doing so)
