"Everything about the Hotel was excellent. Lovely, friendly, very helpful staff, compty bed and room, clean and with coffee/tea/biscuits provided. Breakfast was first class, trout with poached eggs were perfect, Trish went above and beyond to help us with my disabled husband, she even collected our cases from our room and a staff member took and loaded them into our car. Would certainly stay here again."

"The hotel is lovely and staff were very helpful indeed. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Lots of stairs so be prepared but lift is also available. Disappointed to learn after booking the hotel that I had to pay for parking each day. I think over 24 hour stays should have parking included. I would recommend this hotel but be aware it’s on a steep hill. Bus service was excellent and drops right outside."

"Really wonderful staff, very helpful. Fantastic location, a stones throw from the Abby and exactly a 2 block walk straight down to the train station. The room was quite, spacious and nice, good shower and large bathroom. The breakfast is not a full buffet (mostly breads and pastries) but a fresh cooked hot breakfast, we had the eggs benedict which were excellent. Hard to imagine a nicer, better situated hotel in Bath"

"We found the interior design to be inventive and beautiful. The hotel is a joining of 12 (?) different houses and getting around can feel like one is in a maze. As an older couple, they gave us a room we could get to, avoiding stairs and gave us a great view. The modern bathroom had to be a bit cramped to accommodate the many mergings of houses. We would have liked to have had tissues and more hanging space in the room. The bed was way too hard for one of us. They brought up a duvet to top the sheets, which helped. The breakfast was fabulous. The Beau restaurant served good food with accommodations for a wide variety of dietary needs. The staff (all of them) went above and beyond to serve us with cheery attitudes. The hotel is well located. We highly recommend the hotel if a 4 star is a good option for you."
