"The staff of Grand Hotel were great. Friendly and accommodating. Place is near walking street so would be noisy. If you're a light sleeper; you might have a problem. But i was out till pretty late with friends most days so i was not affected."

"they will ask you for a 1000 bhat deposit in CASH. using credit card for the deposit will result in you being charged a 3% fee for some reason. the beds have wheels, and the wheels cannot lock into place. what happens is that the bed moves around whenever you do anything on your bed. the other guests ..."

"This hotel is definitely in the heart of the action and NOT for children. Hotel laundry is excellent and the staff is friendly and generally helpful. I did see a roach on occasion but you probably shouldn't be in Thailand if you're afraid of bugs. Hotel safe is there but not secure as the front desk ..."
