I didn't like very much about the room, other than the price. I needed extra pillows. They only had one. (Really? ONE spare pillow in a motel? *eyes rolling*) It was just very plain with no redeeming features. Very, very basic.

I had read reviews on Google that painted this property in a bad light. I'm happy to say those reviews were definitely not my experience. Both the check-in and check-out staff were friendly and were quick to check me in. The room we were in was freshly renovated with new carpets and tile throughout. Also the cabinets and everything was new except the tub which did have a discoloration on it from being older but it was clean. I recommend this hotel as a great budget friendly option when coming to Surrey. It worked great as a place to sleep and also had a full kitchen in it so I could prepare meals and skip the ever expensive restaurants in the area. Will be back there sometime when I come back to the Vancouver area.

Irrespective of less review, we stayed and felt overwhelmed with the amenities, specially for the family of 5, spacious rooms, couach, beds, large refrigerator, stove, and every small details to make it part of the deal, we hardly had any call to make to the receptionist to arranged for anything extra, we stayed 3 days very comfortably.
