"The rooms are very basic, clean, comfortable bed, very affordable with restrooms and showers down the hall. If you simply require a place to sleep in the Whyte Ave. neighbourhood, the Commercial is a good option. The historic pub downstairs is a bonus. Lots of dining spots within a couple of blocks, plus the nearby Farmers Market, bookshops, and many great local businesses. "

"I was so pleased with my stay at this Baymont Hotel. The underground parking was a saving grace when temperatures dipped lower than -30C during that blustery cold time in Edmonton. The staff were so helpful. The location was ideal as I'd had to have my vehicle serviced at WEM Toyota and my conference was at River Cree. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette allowed me to prepare my own foods. I would recommend this hotel anytime. "

We are getting to know the morning restaurant staff and whenever we show up we are treated like royalty! Thank you so much for that. The only thing about our most recent stay is the sink in our suite wasn't emptying - but that was minor otherwise I can't imagine a nicer place to stay in South Edmonton."
