We loved the concept and hotel ethics regarding your love of dogs and supporting their welfare. Danni and John were fabulous having facilitated our meet and greet with Buster, Beau and lily. My stay in San Francisco was part of a larger trip which also included New York and LA.
Honestly the hotel was perfect for what I was looking for, very easy going. No uncomfortable pestering (although I’d recommend using the do not disturb sign to avoid being woken by housekeeping).
The location was excellent and walking everywhere was super simple.
One lovely lady at reception was amazing with directions and recommendations, one of which was cycling across the Golden Gate Bridge (a must...

This hotel is lovely and well located. The hotel deco is very fun, spacious rooms, comfy bed, great service, decent breakfasts and the best thing is the wine reception which is a fantastic touch (this was our fav part of the stay!)
The hotel is located 10min walk from Union Sq and the subway station. You’ll have a good selection of restaurants and shops nearby.

This is a great hotel! Really well placed for transport links - buses, cable cars and trams. Room was very large, bed really comfortable.
Very handy info guide at check-in that highlights local places to eat and drink. Pinecrest Diner is diagonally opposite and is great! I travelled as a solo female and felt safe at all times. Highly recommend!

Stayed here in 2010 and enjoyed the hotel very much..return visit was equally if not more enjoyable! We missed the clock tower bar due to renovations however the temporary bar was fine serving excellent cocktails and bar snacks, would highly recommend the burgers. We had a king room on 28th floor, it was very spacious and immaculate. All staff extremely helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend.
