"Every staff member was extremely accommodating and efficient, and there were always plenty of staff to serve behind the desk or as bellman, whatever was needed. We had a poolside room, very large and comfortable and super clean. The air conditioning was apparently not functioning in our wing but since high temps were in the 60’s didn’t matter but as compensation they gave us nice grab and go breakfast boxes every day. I was trying to print a map of the zoo in the business center but when I couldn’t make it print, the desk clerk did 2 copies from her computer. The location is a half a block from Union Square so very convenient and safe area"

"The rooms were clean and comfortable. Even though I forgot to ask that the rooms not be cleaned with scented products…neither room smelled of anything scented (we both have fragrance allergies). The front desk gentleman was pleasant and efficient, as was the gentleman when we checked out. Loved the 24 hour coffee/tea station. Valet was great. We were not able to enjoy the breakfast buffet due to our schedule…maybe next time!"

"The location is great, beds were comfy. Everything else wasn’t. Parking is a nightmare with a super tight garage, multiple cars were seen with damage because of the tight turns and expensive at $35/night. I got stuck in the elevator for 20 minutes and there is no stair access from the lobby. Elevators were down multiple times during my four night stay. Room was not actually ever cleaned, had to ask for extra essentials multiple times. When we asked to have our cleaned they didn’t do much other than throw away trash and place new towels."

"What a great surprise. Hotel was very nice convenient to cable cars. I had a bad experience at a holiday inn in the past so this was not my first choice but this property really changed my mind. Staff was helpful and friendly"

"The room was small and not that comfortable. Location was very average compared to the rest of the area. But the worst part was that the lobby actually caught on fire - fire department called, alarms going off, smoke in the hallways - and not one employee tried to help people with their bags or give anyone direction on where to go or what was going on. I ordered a beer that I was going to drink outside because the lobby was smoky and the bartender didn't even offer to comp the beer while the hotel was on fire. Won't be back."
