"We have always had a positive experience staying at CQ. The front desk staff greet you with a smile and check in is always so easy. We love the convenience of the espresso machine in the lobby, and Adam is always such a hospitable bartender in the restaurant. The location is key where the ferry building is an easy walk and Northbeach is at your fingertips for great food and fun. Union Square is close too."

"The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. They helped me navigate the city as a solo traveler. The building can only be accessed by keycard/buzzing in which made me feel extra safe. The location is great - walkable to Chinatown and North Beach. There is no AC so the room felt a little stale at times, but they provided fans and the city itself is cool, so an open window was great. The breakfast is basic but the coffee was surprisingly tasty. I definitely enjoyed my stay and would come back...

"We had a great stay at the Chancellor. The staff was very friendly. The location was amazing. We could jump on the cable car right out front. Sears Fine Foods was right next door for a Swedish pancake breakfast. We recommend staying here. "
