"Visiting my daughter at Uni. Ideally located for easy transport inyo the center of Bristol. Booked a double room here which I must say for the very reasonably price was excellent. Bedroom and bathroom were easily as good as any of the branded hotels. Had dinnef with my daughter here which was very good and again reasonably priced. "Room was spacious, but despite the heating there was a draft coming from the window. Bed comfortable, I had to ask for towels as initially they were missing. No TV in the room & internet was sketchy. A bit old fashioned as it was in an old pub, so you need to switch buttons on the wall before going for shower. Do not get put off by building appearance, the pub is working from 4pm & there are pool tables as well. Bus stop just outside property. "
