Friendly hotel good for Exposition Park and access to Downtown LA. Metro nearby as are local economy dining options as expected being in a student area. Staff friendly and helpful. Some fittings getting a little dated but all were high quality and we’d stay again without hesitation.

The Solo Motel was clean, convenient with friendly staff. The room was comfortable, with all the essentials you would need. Our room had parking directly outside our door which was perfect.
The surrounding area is a little run down, but this shouldn’t stop you from staying here, it’s a perfect stop for a night or two and close enough to central locations (Crypto Arena etc).
The Solo Motel was clean, convenient with friendly staff. The room was comfortable, with all the essentials you would need. Our room had parking directly outside our door which was perfect.

Fantastic location for Universal with direct trolley service to the park and only a 15 minute uber ride to Hollywood Blvd and Griffith park.
Plenty of food options available and a good shopping amenities for any last minute trip requirements.
Guidance on the area from hotel staff was perfect and gave us greater context of what was available.
Room was very comfortable and quiet an served us well for our stay. I would certainly use this hoel again.
