In addition, the toilet stopped working on the day we were checked. The front desk was aware of the mold a day before my vacation ended and didn’t offer to change the room but instead wanted to send maintenance to the room! "

Beach view is exceptional. Pricing for stay and dining is pricey. Overall the property is wonderful and inviting."

"The Expedia confirmation of my reservation stated that a deposit had been charged to my card. This turned out to be incorrect, they had just placed a hold on my card. This led to an issue on check-in when I was asked to pay the full price of the stay when I was expecting only to pay the balance. This misleading information from Expedia created an unpleasant first impression at the hotel. The hotel has old facilities, which are reasonably well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the amenities in the room, water a refrigerator, and a kettle with very much appreciated. Staff were helpful and friendly."
