It's a great place to stay if you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of the historic center...you get more of a "local feel." That worked well for us, but it may not be for everyone. However, it was quite difficult to find the house when we first arrived and communication was difficult - we had to call more than once to finally talk to someone to allow us entrance. Putting the address in GoogleMaps is not helpful, as it takes you to the wrong building. It is also not in a good location if you plan to travel to Florence's central - no Uber/Lyft/taxi was...
