I cannot say enough wonderful things about my 2nd visit to the Scotsman Hotel. This time my wife was booked for 3 nights with her elderly mother. The room was spacious, very quiet and the view onto Princes Street was breathtaking. Once inside, the apartment was quiet, comfortable and very well resourced. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable 3 night stay, including a supermarket next door. The welcome pack of cereals, bread, fresh juices, milk and biscuits were an added bonus. Great location, walking distance to all the sights and excellent local independent shops. You must go to Mary's Milk Bar in the Grassmarket and Lovecrumbs across the street
