Seemed as though the staff was always looking for way to charge us for something extra, which really didn’t put a good taste in my mouth. Also, it was like Mexico, where you can’t put the toilet paper down the toilet. On the upside, super central to everything."

"This hotel had a large bedroom and a large bath room. The shower area was large as well. Housekeeping was shy but helpful. 3 maids would come to the door at the same time. Included in the room was a small balcony which was great for drying clothes as it was in the sun all day. The front desk staff could use some customer service training as they were not too pleasant."

"Always an excellent stay at the Grand Mercure. An oasis in the heart of Patong. Endless food and entertainment only steps away. Outstanding dinner buffets almost every other night, a must-try. Staff absolutely too-notch, helpful and kind. Excellent pool, and swim-up rooms available. Lots of on-site activities, family friendly, shops and a little bar too! Highly recommend hotel. "
