Malmaison Oxford

4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1008)
"I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Malmaison Oxford in Cell Room 128, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! This boutique hotel, set in a beautifully converted Victorian prison, blends historic charm with modern
luxury
in the most captivating way. Room 128, a cozy yet stylish space, was a perfect mix of quirky and comfortable. The original cell features, like the heavy door and stone walls, gave it a unique vibe, while the plush king-size bed, mood lighting, and sleek en-suite with a...

Old Bank Hotel

4.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (668)
"What an exceptional property! We had an amazing stay here. Staff were so attentive and did everything they could to make our stay extra special. The room was spectacularly done up and we loved the complementary Prosecco in the library. The room was big, and lots of modern features; including cafetière coffee, smart TV and much much more. The view of the colleges was also very special. The only thing we found was the room was very hot! Be prepared to open the windows."

The Buttery Hotel

4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (1000)
"I stayed at The Buttery Hotel for one night. I had requested a street facing room but in retrospect, a non -street facing room might have been quieter as there was noise from people in the street well after midnight. It was a very comfortable room, bed, bathroom. Check-in was easy once I found the hotel and person who checked me in was very and offered to carry my bag up to my room which was about 32 steps upstairs. I was also able to leave my bag at the hotel the next day so that it could be...

Tower House

3.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (461)
"This guesthouse is an extraordinary Tudor era house, it was a privilege to stay there. The view of Jesus College from the windows and the incredible location could not be beat. My room was tiny but so comfortable, it had a sink in the room and a closet and tea and coffee making equipment. The bathroom was shared and up one flight but was clean and always available when I needed it. The historical beams and fabric of the house made it thrilling for me to sleep there. There are no staff onsite,...

George Oxford Hotel

2.5 star property
6.8 out of 10, (190)
"We chose the George as it was the cheapest most central hotel in Oxford. Couldn’t fault it. We were very comfortable. Lots of bars and restaurants in the street and many more in the streets nearby. Including the Christmas market. "

The Head of the River

4.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (666)
"Lovely location with super helpful and friendly front desk and restaurant staff! The breakfast was deluxe! The room was nice, but next time we will request an upper floor-we were on the ground floor next to the outdoor dining area and therefore could not open the windows for air and keep our privacy as our windows opened to the tables in the dining area or the street and people could literally look over straight into our room. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and would stay there again. "

Royal Oxford Hotel

3.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (698)
"Room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. Hotel was an easy 8 min walk from the bus station, 5-10 min walk to places to eat & see, and 13 min walk to the car rental company. We would stay there again. The only thing that was odd was that the desk staff asked us not to take our room key off premises when we went out dining or sightseeing -- they wanted the room key left at the desk and picked-up upon our return, which was first time we have ever been asked this by a hotel, and it...
